Anything that causes a sweat to form on your brow can be considered exercising. Being on a stationary bike for 10 to 20 minutes a day is another moderate exercise. As this is considered an actual exercise, many do not classify it as moderate.
Instead of driving to the store three blocks away for a couple of items, walk to the store. Get a bicycle and every Saturday, ride a mile or two. Adding these moderate exercises to your daily life will not
defer from normal activities and the weight will be gone without noticing it.
Set a goal for one year ahead. Mark down on the calendar that you wish to lose that 20 pounds in exactly one year. Mark down dates to check the weight loss at one month, three months and six months.
Generating a desire to perform the moderate exercise you have chosen, setting this goal will help you lose the weight. You will reach your goals by having this desire and a little self-control. You will also reach your goal by eating right.
The key to successful moderate exercise is maintaining the desire to lose the weight. Keeping at it is helped by the knowledge that you are not taking the elevator because you want to lose weight. Becoming a habit of daily life, moderate exercise will continue to help you lose your weight and keep it off.
